The Spiritual Awakening of an Analytical Mind

The awareness I was to write this book began in the fall of 2018. After a couple of iterations of what I believed I was to write, the pandemic book was born. Beginning early summer of 2020, I retooled what I had already written and began writing in earnest, along with learning a lot about the book publishing process.

Why I Wrote The Spiritual Awakening of an Analytical Mind

The world is changing, and we are all beginning to feel a pull to something which we may not be able to define. We are not the first to feel this pull nor will we be the last. The pull can be a simple feeling there is a better version of ourselves out there. The road to discovering this version of ourselves can lead us into unchartered territory, especially those of us coming from a more conservative realm – perhaps skeptical, logical, practical, linear-minded…. maybe even unconscious. 

Realizing how awkwardly and uncomfortably I have often maneuvered my way down this path, I wanted to write a book that provides like-minded individuals as me with a resource for their journey down their path. In some ways, this book can be considered an outline, around which you can write your own, unique path on your journey toward your truest self.

What the Book Covers

There are 13 chapters in The Spiritual Awakening of an Analytical Mind. The chapters act as stepping stones for you as you embark on your journey. You may find other stones better suited for a given moment in your journey or you may visit these stones multiple times as you will be in a different place with them. 

The chapters we will discuss are: Believing, Self-Healing, Solitude, Mother Earth, In the Present, Filling Our Canoe, Crystals & Stones, Self-Care, Creativity, Spiritual Toolbox, Spirituality, and Our Truth.

Each chapter contains an opening, three subchapter topics, exercises for you, and a smattering of personal stories from my journey on this self-awakening path.
